Tickets for the Miami Heat NBA playoffs go on sale Wednesday

ATLANTA – The Miami Heat announced Tuesday that postseason tickets will go on sale online Wednesday at noon.

The Heat are guaranteed at least one postseason home game, but will provide tickets to all playoff rounds, including the NBA Finals.

There is a limit of four tickets per purchase per game. Tickets are available on Heat.com and Ticketmaster.com.

The Heat's potential play-in home games would be April 16 and 19. The best-of-seven opening round of the playoffs begins April 20. Dates for possible Heat postseason games likely won't be set until April 14, the end of the NBA regular season.

According to the team, “Fans who purchased tickets for games not played will automatically receive a refund from Ticketmaster, including fees (excluding UPS and retail pickup fees). If fans purchase tickets from a retail location, they can secure a refund by returning tickets for unplayed games to the same retail location where they were originally purchased.”

The Heat have made it to at least the Eastern Conference Finals the last two seasons, including last season's NBA Finals where they lost 4-1 to the Denver Nuggets.

As with the regular season, entry to all Heat postseason home games will be via mobile devices only, with tickets accessible via the Heat app, Ticketmaster.com and/or the Ticketmaster app on a smartphone.
