“Under Paris” trailer previews new Netflix horror film “Shark”.

Netflix has released the first trailer Under Parisa new horror film about a shark lurking in the Seine.

The trailer for “Under Paris” previews an intense French-language horror film about a scientist named Sophie who learns about a huge, dangerous shark hiding in the 783-mile-long river.

What is Under Paris about?

Deadline's description of the film states: “In the near future, in the summer of 2024, Paris will host the World Triathlon Championships on the Seine for the first time. Sophia, a brilliant scientist, learns from Mika, a young environmental activist, that a large shark swims deep in the river. Avoid

With a bloodbath ensuing in the heart of the city, they have no choice but to team up with Adil, the Seine police commander.”

“Under Paris” is directed by Xavier Gens, whose previous credits include “Hitman” (2007), “The Divide” (2011), “Cold Skin” (2017), “Budapest” (2018) and “Mayhem!” (2023). ) turned. He also directed episodes of Crossing Lines (2014), Gangs of London (2020), Mortel (2021) and Lupin (2023).

Gens co-wrote the script for “Under Paris” with Yaël Langmann, Yannick Dahan and Maud Heywang. Sebastien Auscher is producing the film.

Bérénice Bejo, Nassim Lyes, Léa Léviant, Iñaki Lartigue and José Antonio Pedrosa Moreno play the main roles in the film.

Under Paris will be released on Netflix on June 5, 2024.
