Leakage of UP Police exam papers: Accused Ravi Attri was arrested near Jewar bus stand near Greater Noida after the special cell of Gautam Buddh Nagar police for his involvement in leaking the exam papers of February 17 and 18 arrested.

Accused Ravi Attri is the second mastermind to be arrested in the UP Police paper leak case after Rajeev Nayan Mishra.

Noida: In a major breakthrough in the leaked UP Police exam papers, the Gautam Buddh Nagar police on Wednesday arrested the second mastermind of the case from Jewar bus stand near Greater Noida and seized three question papers from him, among others.

Acting on a tip-off, the Police Special Task Force (STF) laid a trap and arrested Ravi Attri near Jewar bus stand in Gautam Buddh Nagar district. In addition to the questionnaires, the police also confiscated a phone, a USB stick and a subway card from him.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that he had completed his schooling from an intercollege in the district in 2006 and then went to Kota in Rajasthan to prepare for the medical entrance exams. There he came into contact with the local mafia and began taking many tests as a solver.

UP Police files leak: Second arrest in 8 days

On April 2, the Noida STF arrested another mastermind of the leaked documents of the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Exam 2024 from Greater Noida. The accused, Rajeev Nayan Mishra, is also suspected of leaking the question paper of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 and the National Health Mission (NHM) contract staff nursing recruitment exam in 2023, police said.

UP Police paper leak case

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Examination was held on February 17 and 18 and covered around 4.82 million candidates for 60,244 vacancies. However, on February 24, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath canceled the exam due to alleged paper leaks and ordered a re-examination within six months.

Raj Kumar Mishra, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Noida STF, revealed, “The accused identified as Rajeev Nayan Mishra, 32 years old, hails from Prayagraj and resides in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He has a BTech degree.”

On April 2, police received information that Nayan Mishra had traveled from Bhopal to Delhi and was supposed to meet one of his associates near the LG roundabout in Greater Noida. A team laid a trap and arrested Nayan Mishra.
