Convicted murderer Robert Durst returns in the trailer for “The Jinx – Part Two.”

Convicted murderer Robert Durst died in 2022 – but the bizarre story of the multimillionaire New York real estate heir-turned-murderer still remains unsolved.

On Wednesday, HBO released the first trailer for “The Jinx: Part Two,” the juicy sequel to the 2015 documentary series “The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst,” which ended explosively with his apparent confession.

This program from filmmaker Andrew Jarecki combined a history of Durst's decades-long alleged misdeeds with a rare interview with the eccentric man himself.

“The Jinx: Part Two,” about the crimes of New York real estate heir Robert Durst, begins April 21 on HBO. Max

In the latest episode, a hot mic caught Durst muttering in the bathroom, “Of course they killed everyone” – an apparent admission of the murders of his first wife Kathleen Durst, his California girlfriend Susan Berman and his Galveston neighbor Morris Black, Texas took place between 1982 and 2001.

A Texas court ruled in 2001 that Black's death was in self-defense – even though Durst beheaded him while disguised as a woman named Dorothy Steiner – and he was acquitted. The shocking black verdict led to the Post's front-page headline: “Run For Your Lives.”

But in 2021, Durst was finally convicted of first-degree murder for shooting Berman in her home in Beverly Hills, California, 21 years earlier.

The six-episode second part covers what happened to the killer from the 2015 finale until his death seven years later, including his arrest, prison stay and conviction. Second wife Debrah Lee Charatan, a much-discussed character from part one, returns here.

In an audio clip in the trailer, Durst calls a confidant from the clink. “You should expect a call from the prosecutor wanting to speak with you. But you don’t tell them anything,” he says.

And: “Everyone will work together to get me out of here.”

“The Jinx: Part Two” premieres Sunday, April 21 on HBO.
