Philly Parkside shooting: Several injured during Eid celebrations

At least two people were shot in Philadelphia's Parkside neighborhood as people celebrated the end of Ramadan.

There is a massive police response in the area of ​​47th and Girard.

Four people are currently in custody, Action News has learned from sources, and a police officer also opened fire.

It is not yet known whether anyone was hit by the officer's shots.

A pedestrian who was fleeing the scene of an accident was hit by a car. The extent of this person's injuries is not yet known.

There were several children between the ages of two and 14 who were separated from their families. A reunification checkpoint was set up at 48th and Girard Place.

The shooting occurred in an area where residents were celebrating Eid al-Fitr, the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Video from Chopper 6 showed several tables, chairs and tents left behind in the chaos.
