“He won’t see it.”

Halle Berry's son won't be seeing her new film anytime soon.

The 57-year-old actress who stars in the new horror film Never let goappeared at CinemaCon 2024 and spoke with Extra about whether she will let her two children – daughter Nahla Ariela, 16, and son Maceo-Robert, 10, whom she shares with ex-husband Olivier Martinez – see the film.

“My 16-year-old, yes,” Berry says. “My son would have nightmares for a very long time, so no. I mean, he saw the trailer for a scary movie and it took us a year to get him to go to bed alone, so he won't see it.”

However, the mother of two believes her daughter “will like it.”

“That’s what I learned from this film,” she adds. “My children are my most precious treasures.”

In February, Berry scored major mom points after her son Maceo-Robert met David Beckham during Inter Miami's game against the LA Galaxy.

“Thank you @mls and @davidbeckham for making my son's dream come true and for giving me some extra 'cool mom' points 🤍⚽️,” Berry wrote on Instagram alongside photos from the game.

Suddenly Berry smiled as she put her arm around Maceo-Robert's shoulder. Another photo showed Beckham talking to the teenager and another fan.

During an appearance in 2021 Live with Kelly and RyanBerry said her children are “comfortable” in their relationship with boyfriend Van Hunt. Her son even threw an impromptu “commitment ceremony” for her.

“This was a ceremony of an eight-year-old in the backseat of the car saying, 'Mom, you should marry him.' I said, 'Really, I should marry him?'” Berry asked.

“He said, 'Yes, I pronounce you husband and wife.' So we say, ‘Oh, okay, we’re married!’ But we’re not married,” Berry said. “So this is our engagement ceremony. It's silly. It is sweet.”
