Kentucky will play a former Wildcat in the 2024 CBS Sports Classic

Last season's Kentucky roster was full of outstanding basketball players that Big Blue Nation loved.

Some of these players are entering the transfer portal, some will follow John Calipari to Arkansas and some are hoping to see their name called in the 2024 NBA Draft.

One player who reached the portal but didn't follow Coach Calipari is Aaron Bradshaw. The 6-foot-2 Bradshaw announced yesterday that he will finish his college basketball career at Ohio State.

As a true freshman, Bradshaw averaged 4.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 0.7 blocks per game for the Wildcats. An injury prevented Bradshaw from being in the squad for some games, making it difficult for him to train before the season.

The problem for Bradshaw last season was physicality. He was good offensively, but some of the bigger centers in the SEC could push him around deep and score with ease. At Ohio State University, the coaching staff will try to add more muscle to his six-foot-two frame, which will make him more difficult to move.

Funnily enough, the Wildcats will face the Buckeyes of Ohio State in the CBS Sports Classic next season.

At the 2023 CBS Sports Classic, Bradshaw had one of his best games of the season as the Wildcats defeated the #9 North Carolina Tar Heels. Bradshaw scored 12 points, went 4-6 from the field and made his only three-pointer.

Big Blue Nation loves Bradshaw and hopes he has success at his next stop in Columbus.
