“We want a big, fun Christmas wedding!” reveals Corrie star Tony Maudsley

Brother and sister George and Glenda could be doing more than just arguing after Todd finds a will belonging to their father Archie at the funeral home this week. Since the date is blurred, it's unclear when Archie changed his mind, but as per his wishes, Glenda is entitled to half the deal!

In this week's edition of In soapTony teases how this revelation could harm their relationship…

Hello Tony! You've been playing George for four years now – has he changed much in that time?

He is much happier, much more relaxed. George always went home alone to an apartment and ate microwave food. Now he has a family around him and that family at No. 11 is really precious to him. His relationship with Eileen gave him the family he was missing!

Todd, as always, butts in and tries to curry favor with George – how is their relationship now after last year's fight?

Now that George has made him his partner, Todd is happy. Me and Gareth Pierce [Todd] I love collaboration. George wants to make sure Todd and Eileen are taken care of in case he drops dead. But Todd being Todd, that's not enough for him. He'll go snooping around, and then this will show up…

If Glenda finds out George has been keeping it from her, how do you think that will affect their relationship?

Money does strange things to people. Glenda doesn't have much money. When she sees those pound signs in her eyes, there may be no turning back!

What would be your absolute dream story?

A big wedding. No registry office, full budget. Things go wrong and the only way to get Eileen to church is in the back of the hearse! Maybe the church is closed or we booked the wrong day and have to get married at the crematorium. A big, fun Christmas wedding – that’s what we hope for! And Eileen in a meringue.
