Netflix gives a first look at the star crime mystery series on Wednesday

However, Frith Tiplady, one of the show's executive producers, has stressed that although more seasons are planned, the first season will have a hard ending as the mystery is solved.

With three mysteries waiting to be solved and the talented Emma Myers leading the way, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder is preparing to be this generation's version Veronica Mars, just like Veronica was the millennial version of Nancy Drew. It will be interesting to see how Myers plays Pip and whether she will be dark and tormented like Kristen Bell's Veronica, peppy and quirky like Nancy Drew, or whether the series will stick to the books and portray Pip as intelligent, loyal and kind conciliatory. No matter what happens, it will be great to see Myers' range expand from the colorful and peppy Enid she plays Wednesday.

Alongside Emma Myers, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder Zain Iqbal plays Ravi Singh, the supporting protagonist of the series and Pip's friend. Ravi's brother Sal is believed to have killed Andie Bell before killing himself, but Pip and Ravi both believe Sal is innocent, leading them to investigate the murder themselves. The series also stars India Lillie Davies as Andie, Rahul Pattni as Sal, Asha Banks, Yali Topol Margalith, Jude Morgan-Collie and Raiko Gohara.
