Phase 2 of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 begins: How to check your voter slip and download it online

The second phase of the 18th century Lok Sabha elections 2024 is now live and voting in the second phase of Lok Sabha Election 2024 will take place in 88 constituencies across 12 states and Union Territories and remaining parts of the Outer Manipur Lok Sabha constituency including Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala , Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Rajasthan, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir.
As expected, most registered voters must have received theirs Voter Information Sheet (VIS) from the Election Commission of India (ECI). If you have not received your VIS yet, you will receive it shortly before the voting date or you can download it immediately via the official EIC mobile app and the official EIC website.
For those who don't know: a Voter slip or VIS is a document issued by the EIC before an election to inform voters of the necessary details. The slip contains details such as name, age, gender, constituency and most importantly the location of the polling station, room number, date and time of the election and more. In addition, a QR code is included for quick verification of voter details.
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to download the Voter Information Slip or VIS to your phone.

Download the voter information sheet using the mobile app

  • Open the Play Store or Apple App Store and download it Voter Helpline App
  • Tap on the Download “E-EPIC” option
  • Log in with your registered phone number, password and OTP (register if you haven't already)
  • Then enter your EPIC number (found on the voter ID card).
  • Alternatively, you can also find your VIC using the application reference number
  • After that, you will see the details of your voter slip, tap on it and re-enter the OTP to open the VIC document.

Download the voter information sheet via the website

  • Open “ and log in with phone number, password and OTP (register if you are new to the site).
  • Click on the “Download E-EPIC” option.
  • Enter EPIC number (found on your voter ID card)
  • Once this is done, E-EPIC will be downloaded along with the VIS

Once you have your E-EPIC, you can either print the entire page or print just the VIS page and take it with you to the polling station to cast your vote.
