Download Festival announces District X line-up including…

Download has revealed its extensive lineup for District X at this year's festival.

Open to weekend ticket holders from Wednesday June 12th, it offers a smorgasbord of rock 'n' roll entertainment including guest DJ sets, karaoke, acoustic sessions, podcasts, comedy and more.

Topping the list is Busted/Fightstar man Charlie Simpson, who will be performing a special DJ set, Bowling For Soup will be playing a one-off acoustic show and heavy metal/EDM crossover party starter Sullivan King will be bringing some serious bangers of his own DJ set.

Elsewhere there will be DJ sets from some of the country's top alternative club nights including Girl Power Rock Club, Face Down and Uprawr, during HE. SHE. SHE. and Mønster Queen will bring a unique goth/rave/drag experience to Donington.

There will also be live podcasts from Sappenin' Podcast and Those Damn Crows' own Crowcast, alongside live comedy from Oh My God! It's The Church and Kerrang! Favorite Andrew O'Neill performing his famous History Of Heavy Metal show.

And much more! Horn covers of Download hits from Old Dirty Brasstards, heavy metal sea shanties from Old Time Sailors and Slay Duggee will bring Download's mini-moshers to rock bottom.
