Former Quince Orchard football star selected in the first round of the NFL Draft

Chop Robinson of Gaithersburg, a graduate of Quince Orchard High School, was selected by the Miami Dolphins with the 21st pick of the NFL Draft.

Robinson played for the University of Maryland and Penn State out of high school and was considered a top defensive end prospect. (WJLA)

Pet Wants, a store focused on natural pet food, is now open on King Farm Blvd in Rockville.

Four Montgomery County Public Schools students were named U.S. Presidential Scholars semifinalists from among 625 semifinalists from across the country.
