First Look at 2025 'Red Hulk' Movie Revealed (Photo)

MCU fans now know what Marvel Studios' design for the Red Hulk will look like ahead of his debut in 2025.

With Harrison Ford taking on the role of the late William Hurt, General Thunderbolt Ross will finally embody his Marvel Comics alter ego Captain America: Brave New Worldand becomes the Red Hulk.

Ford hasn't subtly teased his character's transformation, even going so far as to do a physical “lip-zipping” motion when he was first asked about doing a motion capture performance for the iconic Hulk villain want.

First look at the MCU's Red Hulk design

A reel from Instagram user @colecionaveis_fastfood gave a first look at the MCU version of Red Hulk, which will debut in 2025 Captain America: Brave New World.

The reel shows a video of a McDonald's display of Happy Meal toys, currently based on characters from the new MCU film. In this group is a character who embodies Harrison Ford's Thunderbolt Ross after he transforms into the Red Hulk.

The toy showcases the villain's bright red skin tone and yellow irises, complete with a pair of ripped shorts reminiscent of Bruce Banner's.

The design looks nearly identical to what fans have seen of the Red Hulk in Marvel Comics over the years, giving the villain a sense of comic accuracy in his very first MCU appearance.

This came after set photos teased Harrison Ford with ripped pants, hinting at his eventual evolution into the evil red version of Marvel's superhuman rage monster.

The role of Red Hulk in the 2025 MCU film

Although it is unclear whether the Red Hulk will be the main antagonist Captain America: Brave New WorldCasting such a big name as Harrison Ford shows how important the character is to the plot.

At Marvel's panel discussion at CinemaCon 2024, attendees got their first look at Ford's reimagining of Ross, who will take over as President of the United States in the 2025 sequel. Ross will make his first appearance in the MCU since 2021 Black widowand with the recast, he will forgo his signature mustache for the first time in MCU history.

This footage also made it clear that Ross' relationship with Sam Wilson was changing rapidly, although other plot details remain unclear as the film will reportedly undergo major reshoots in the coming weeks.

Many are also hoping for Ross to make a comeback in 2025 lightning*which comes out less than three months later Captain America 4.

Whatever the case, in 2025 the Red Hulk will finally get the spotlight that fans have wanted for years.

Captain America: Brave New World will be in theaters on February 14, 2025.
