Katrina's last release 'Merry Christmas' was disappointing at the box office and didn't make much money, but it showed the improved version of Katrina Kaif as an actress. She acted opposite South Star actor Vijay Sethupati but never once let Katrina shine in front of him as an actress. But Katrina, who is known as a box office queen since the beginning of her career for signing all the masala entertainers, might take a different direction after 'Merry Christmas'.

Katrina Kaif on how she will choose her films in the future.

In her interview with Variety, Katrina Kaif opened up about her choice of films and how she will go about giving her approval in ten future projects: “I have always put the audience first and have throughout my career “I try to do that in my decisions.” And I think it's about finding a balance. Which story do I think will appeal to audiences? And what can I connect with personally and as an actor? This is exactly what I want to do now.”

Katrina Kaif added how her film journey has been. In the same interview, while recalling that it was her first time being a part of a South Indian film, she said, “I think my first foray was in a South Indian film, actually a Telugu film.” [2004 romcom “Malliswari” where she plays the titular role of a wealthy heiress]. And from there I started gaining experience in front of the camera and then slowly progressed by meeting directors and producers. I felt like I had done what I wanted to do in the modeling industry. I felt like, “Okay, I got the scene.” I had some goals and intentions and I achieved them. And for me, the films were my desire and my heart.

Katrina Kaif, who was thinking of packing her bags and leaving Bollywood, is one of the most successful leading actresses in tinsel town.
