Honkai Star Rail 2.2: release date, banners, events, beams, more

Robin and Boothill will be headlining the Honkai Star Rail 2.2 banner in this order. While most banners usually debut an additional four-star character, this update appears to be an exception. On the other hand, players will also get a repeat of Fu Xuan and Topaz banners with the update.

This is what the banner plan for HSR 2.2 looks like:

While some fans expected Firefly/Sam after the big cliffhanger in Update 2.1, the character will instead be playable with the epilogue, which will arrive with Honkai Star Rail 2.3.

Honkai Star Rail 2.2 Harmony Trailblazer leaked

The main reason the Honkai Star Rail 2.2 update doesn't include a new four-star character is because players will finally be able to Unlock a new path for the Trailblazer.

Leaks suggest HSR 2.2 will introduce a new boss, “Harmonic Choir” – The Great Septimusand players can unlock the main character of the Imaginary Element in the Path of The Harmony, just like in the Belobog story where they unlocked the Preservation Fire Trailblazer.

Characters in Path of The Harmony specialize in improving the abilities of their allies, so the new Imaginary Trailblazer will be a support character.

That's all the leaks have suggested so far, but we'll be sure to update this section once we know more about the Harmony Trailblazer.

Honkai Star Rail 2.2 light cone

The debuts of Robin and Boothill will add new five-star light cones to Honkai Star Rail, in addition to the two four-star light cones confirmed by HoYoverse. Here's what we know about her thanks to leaks:

Flowing Night Light – Five Stars | The harmony

The wielder gains 1 stack of Cantillation each time an ally attacks. Each stack of Cantillation increases the wearer's energy regeneration rate by 3%, up to 5 stacks. When the wielder uses their ultimate ability, Cantillation is removed and Cadenza gains. Cadenza increases the wearer's ATK by 48% and the team's damage dealt by 24% for 1 turn.

On the way to a second life – five stars | The hunt

Increases the wearer's Break effect by 60% and the Break DMG dealt by the wearer ignores 20% of the target's DEF. If the wearer's Break effect is 150% or greater, their SPD also increases by 12%.

Boundless Choreo – Four Stars | The nothingness

Increase the wearer's CRIT rate by 8%. The wielder deals 24% more CRIT damage to enemies whose DEF is currently reduced or slowed.

For the journey of tomorrow – four stars | The harmony

Increases the wearer's ATK by 16%. When the wielder then uses their ultimate ability, the damage dealt increases by 18% for 1 turn.

Gameplay updates for Honkai Star Rail 2.2

Honkai Star Rail 2.2 will add one New lineup overview feature This makes it easier for players to check and edit their team compositions and preferences. On the other hand, players can also see recommendations when leveling up Traces, allowing them to complete the upgrades prioritized for each character first.

In addition, the 2.2 update will also add new social features. With these new features, players can share what they are currently doing in the game, which characters and beams of light they have drawn, battle records, and more.

As expected, HSR gets a new boss with this update to finally conclude the Penacony storyline. After defeating it, players can challenge a new Echo of War for juicy rewards and new materials. The story will also add brand new areas called Dreamflux Reef, Penacony Grand TheaterAnd SoulGlad Scorchsand Audition Venue.

Additionally, the arrival of the Harmony Trailblazer will refresh the toughness system with new enemies. According to leaks, some of the new enemies will have more than one toughness bar, meaning you'll need to break through all of them to trigger the Weakness Break effect in battle.

Luckily for HSR players, leaks suggest that the Harmony Trailblazer will have abilities that can boost her allies' Break effect and deal damage from other elements that aren't her own. It sounds like the new Trailblazer will be a real asset, at least during updates 2.2 and 2.3.

Honkai Star Rail 2.2 Events

Players can look forward to a new one Gift of the Odyssey Join the event to get 10 Star Rail special passes for free in the Honkai Star Rail 2.2 update.

Another event titled Dreamjoy memoir gives players the chance to receive one of the new light cones. The event description notes that players will have to edit various films to change the ending through mini-games similar to those introduced in 2.1.

The Legend of the Galactic Baseballer is an event that brings the masked jester Giovanni back into the game. This time the character has designed a new video game inspired by your adventures and you have to defeat powerful enemies to get all possible rewards.

The second phase of the 2.2 update will also add that All about Boothill Event where players can complete time-limited missions to receive Stellar Jade, Credits and other useful materials.

Finally the Planar crack And Garden of Abundance The events return with double rewards for players who engage with the simulated universe and various Chalices respectively.
