Skip this hot Jenna Ortega movie on Netflix

Jenna Ortega is climbing into Netflix's top 10 charts again, but not for the highly anticipated second season of Wednesday.

The streaming giant just added Ortega's latest film Miller's girl, in which she plays a student involved in a romantic relationship with her teacher (Martin Freeman). And it's already at number 4 on Netflix in the US today, a repeat of how much of a stir it caused when it was still in cinemas.

The word of mouth that Miller's girl Much of the enjoyment during its runtime, however, was due to an X-rated scene between Freeman's professor and Ortega's young writing student – and also to the fact that Ortega is 31 years younger than Freeman, who is 52. The 21-year-old Ortega is still playing one younger woman, an 18-year-old student named Cairo Sweet.

“That doesn't mean (a cross-age romance) isn't great,” Freeman said in an interview with Britain's The times. Stories about “difficult subjects,” he continued, can be “tainted by association.” And that’s a shame. Are we going to have to deal with Liam Neeson for starring in a film about the Holocaust?”

The cynic in me suspects this, now that Miller's girl is on Netflix, everyone watching will essentially be training their fast forward button so they can skip to “that” scene. Otherwise the film just isn't very good; For example, it has a rating of 5.2/10 on IMDb and an abysmal 29% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Given Ortega's high profile on Netflix, thanks Wednesday – the new season is expected to be released in 2025 – I wouldn’t be surprised if more people decided to donate Miller's girl A chance based on Ortega's name alone. Maybe even enough people to push the film up a bit in Netflix's daily top 10 rankings, although the film has no chance of displacing the streamer's current reigning champion, Sydney Sweeney Everyone but you.

However, if you ask me, I would recommend you skip it Miller's girl complete. It's always a red flag when a film is known for just one controversial sex scene. Viewers, horrified by what they had seen, flocked to Twitter and TikTok earlier this year to express their shock at the raunchy scene, when the only other thing you really hear about this film is how bad it is he is. A definite jump.
