According to Chet Holmgren, the OKC Thunder team's chemistry is unique in the NBA

As the world becomes more cynical by the day, even the most mundane topics are met with steel cage deathmatches with diametrically opposed sides.

Something as insignificant as the fact that the youngest basketball team is a close-knit group has put some off. Sure, her AT&T commercials blare at every stoppage in playoff basketball and her childlike exuberance is rarely found in professional sports between the barking and constant support of teammates, but it's not worth getting upset about.

Recently, rookie big man Chet Holmgren opened this up Boardroom Podcast about the negative comments the Oklahoma City Thunder received following their recent viral interview online.

As the Thunder seek their first series win since 2016, Holmgren mentioned the team's ability to tune out the outside noise – an understanding that comes with the “hater culture” we live in, particularly on NBA social media.

When Gonzaga mentioned the product while talking to other NBA players, he realized how unique the Oklahoma City culture is among like-minded youth.

Despite their inexperience, their exceptional maturity makes them the league's youngest No. 1 seeds ever and has overcome every test to this point.

Holmgren averaged 16.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.3 blocks and nearly one steal per game during his rookie season, in which he played and started all 82 contests for the OKC Thunder.
