The Election Commission of India has become completely hi-tech. The commission controls and monitors the electoral process via mobile apps. There are separate apps for different purposes, including registering on the voter list, lodging complaints and for employees deployed on election duty. Saksham ECI app

Voter Helpline App

Through the Voter Helpline app, people above 18 years of age can apply to have their names added to the voter list sitting at home. You can see the name in the voter list. If your name is not there or has been deleted, you can apply online.

On election day, you can use this app to download the e-voter ID card or voter list, print it out and take it with you to the polling station. You can also find information about polling stations there.

Sea Vigil app

Through the C Vigil app, people can inform the Election Commission about code of conduct violations and illegal activities by lodging complaints. 100 minutes are available to process the complaint.

To do this, the photo and information about the complaint must be uploaded to the app. The complainant receives all information about the action taken on the complaint and its status.
