Seven mobile apps you must download for all survey-related information

The Election Commission of India has become completely hi-tech. The commission controls and monitors the electoral process via mobile apps. There are separate apps for different purposes, including registering on the voter list, lodging complaints and for employees deployed on election duty. These apps help voters get a range of information such as: B. about the candidate in their constituency and his background, voter turnout, and make voters aware of this, among other things.

Seven apps relate directly to voters, three to government work and employees. These three apps serve to train and inform election observers and employees.

Saksham ECI app

Disabled voters can use the Saksham ECI app. They can use the app to register on the voter list and apply for a wheelchair on election day.

E-learning app

The Election Commission is using e-learning apps to make voters aware. Their main goal is to increase the share of voting rights. The election commission pays particular attention to this.

KYC app

Through the Know Your Candidate app, i.e. the KYC app, voters can get information about the names, educational records, etc. of the candidates contesting from their parliamentary or assembly constituency.

voter turnout

Voter turnout can be used on election day. Information about where and how many votes took place can be found in this app. This app shows real-time information from the data entered by the returning officer.

Candidate for an institution

Candidates can apply for permission to hold an election meeting or rally through Suvidha Candidate. It can also be used for the enrollment process. However, you are required to appear in person at the office to enroll.

Voter Helpline App

Through the Voter Helpline app, people above 18 years of age can apply to have their names added to the voter list sitting at home. You can see the name in the voter list. If your name is not there or has been deleted, you can apply online.

On election day, you can use this app to download the e-voter ID card or voter list, print it out and take it with you to the polling station. You can also find information about polling stations there.

Sea Vigil app

Through the C Vigil app, people can inform the Election Commission about code of conduct violations and illegal activities by lodging complaints. 100 minutes are available to process the complaint.

To do this, the photo and information about the complaint must be uploaded to the app. The complainant receives all information about the action taken on the complaint and its status.
