Josh Brolin talks about missing 'Deadpool and Wolverine' reruns on cable: 'I really wanted to be in that movie'

There have been a handful of occasions where an actor has played more than one role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, such as Gemma Chan's portrayal of Minn-Erva and Sersi Captain Marvel And Eternal, the 21st and 26th of the Marvel films in order. Well, we won't include Josh Brolin in that group. After his time as the evil Thanos in Infinity Saga, he was not brought back to take on the role of Cable Deadpool and Wolverineand the actor shared his thoughts about being left out of the upcoming Marvel film he wanted to be a part of.

Brolin was interviewed on The Playlist Binge worthy podcast about Season 2 of his show Outer Range, available to stream with an Amazon Prime Video subscription, when host Mike DeAngelo joked about how it's been going since then Deadpool and Wolverine is on the actor's IMDB page, it must mean he is in the film. Brolin laughed upon hearing of this entry and exclaimed, “So “I wanted to be in this movie,” then said this about Marvel Studios:

[Marvel] is a more complex maze than Outer Range will ever be, my friend. And I'll never know where that went or what that is or what I'm dealing with or what I'm not dealing with – the MCU is involved now. Cable was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed playing this role. That was a lot of fun.
