It was difficult to look away from the Challengers – the central trend

The “Challengers” movie poster featuring my queen Zendaya

If I had to choose one woman, I would choose Zendaya, hands down. I watched her KC Undercover on the Disney Channel to MJ in Spider-Man, and now in challenger.

When I walked into the theater on Friday night, I knew two things: I wanted to see a movie about tennis and that Zendaya was in it. I left the theater knowing that I had just seen one of my new favorite movies.

challenger follows two best friends, Art and Patrick (Mike Faist and Josh O'Connor), who play tennis and fall in love with the same girl. Tashi Duncan. Tashi is a tennis star who bounces back and forth between the two boys.

I think Art was right throughout the entire film and wrong far too often.

The love triangle is so entertaining to watch, but what makes it even better is that it's hard to see who's in the wrong: Is it Tashi who seduces them both (and more)? Is it Patrick who saw that Art liked Tashi and even encouraged Art to flirt at times? Is it art not to take a step back and be happy for your friend? I think Art was right throughout the entire film and wrong far too often.

In addition to the characters and the plot, it is the structure of the film, the camera work and the style of storytelling that really set this film apart from the others. The story is about tennis players and there are a lot of tennis game scenes, but they never get boring because as Tashi says in the film, tennis is a relationship, and during the matches the relationship between the characters is easy to see. The most prominent way relationships are showcased in tennis is the final scene between Art and Patrick, and what at first appears to be a cliffhanger ending underlines the importance of each game and each stroke of the racket to be attentive.

Another interesting choice in tennis was when the camera was the tennis ball. I felt slightly dizzy, but it was an amazing choice. The camera work in this film really made it special.

This film has taken over the internet, and rightly so. So many people are analyzing every part of this film and, as Zendaya recommends, watching it multiple times. I can't wait for it to come out on streaming so I can watch it again and again.

In this world of lazy Hollywood and inferior films, challenger broke free and graced the big screen with an amazing film. I've been waiting for a movie like this, one that I have to pay attention to, one that will keep me hooked throughout, and one that's worth watching again. challenger exceeded all my expectations.

Now I sit there and wait for a movie to ever be as great as Challenger, and I'll be disappointed because I can't imagine anything better than this movie anytime soon.

Now I want to take another look at Zendaya and her two tennis boys in their love triangle as they fight to win over decades.
