Ben Affleck embraces the cool-weather cardigan trend while in LA

Affleck, 51, wore a gray cable-knit cardigan while strolling in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 2. For his casual stroll, he paired his sweater – which featured tan and white thread and black buttons – with a white undershirt and paint-stained blue jeans. He completed his look with floral print Nike sneakers.

Affleck wore a similar cardigan while out and about in March. His gray and navy sweater had a chevron and stripe pattern. The actor paired the piece with a matching checked jacket, blue undershirt, azure pants and the same Nike shoes.

Affleck's Thursday walk comes a few days before the Met Gala on Monday, May 6, where his wife was in attendance Jennifer Lopez will also serve as co-chair Zendaya, Bad bunny, Anna Wintour And Chris Hemsworth. Since he's already joined Lopez on the famous steps, fans are wondering if he'll be flying to the Big Apple this weekend.

In 2021, he looked as handsome as ever in a black and white tuxedo as he posed with Lopez, who wore a Ralph Lauren dress. Her brown ensemble for the theme “In America: A Dictionary of Fashion” included a plunging neckline, feather embellishments and a thick leather belt. She accessorized with a fur jacket, a black hat and thick silver chains.

This year, the Met's theme is “Sleeping Beauty: Resurgent Fashion” with a “Garden of Time” dress code. Last month, Lopez teased her look for the event and shared that her look was not finalized at this point.
