WWE Backlash France 2024: Full card, live updates, results, grades and analysis

It's a relatively easy card given the number of games on Saturday in Lyon, France, but the stakes are high as four of the five contests are championships. This is how I see everything falling apart:

WWE Undisputed Championship – Cody Rhodes (c.) vs. AJ Styles — Will this match be an absolute blast? Yes. Will Cody Rhodes' reign end after four weeks? No. It's really that simple – there's no way Rhodes is leaving France with the WWE Undisputed Championship. Grab your popcorn, enjoy the show and watch two of WWE's best compete in the main event. Prediction: Cody Rhodes def. AJ Styles retains the WWE Undisputed Championship

World Heavyweight Championship – Damian Priest (c.) vs. Jey Uso – Jey Uso winning here would send the Lyon crowd into an uproar, but I don't think that's going to happen, especially with Rhea Ripley's injury dealing a significant blow to Judgment Day's status. Priest should have a long shot as heavyweight champion of the world, and the time may come for Jey Uso to finally dethrone him. However, it won't be weeks after the Archer of Infamy stunned the wrestling world at WrestleMania 40. Prediction: Damian Priest defeated. Jey Uso retains the world heavyweight title

WWE Women's Championship – Bayley (c.) vs. Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton — While there's always an opportunity here to protect Bayley in a championship change, I don't think she'll lose it anytime soon after having one of the most memorable WrestleMania moments from last month's event. The most likely outcome here is Bayley getting the win over Naomi while Stratton looks strong and sets up a longer program between the two. Prediction: Bayley defeated. Naomi and Tiffany Stratton retain the WWE Women's Championship

WWE Women's Tag Team Championship – The Kabuki Warriors (c.) vs. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair – What could mean the end of Damage CTRL is the right move for Cargill and Belair to leave France as Women's Tag Team Champions. They already have a win over Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 40 (alongside Naomi) and can continue to build on SmackDown's championships in the future. Prediction: Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair def. The Kabuki Warriors win the Women's Tag Team Championship

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga) — One could make a case for both sides to win here, but I think it makes the most sense for Sikoa and Tonga to come out on top. If Solo becomes the new leader of the Bloodline and Tonga effectively assumes his role, there will be a potential showdown with Roman Reigns down the line, and the faction remains a significant threat going forward. It's possible that the finish here isn't clean, but either way Solo and Tonga should come out on top. Prediction: The Bloodline defeated. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton
