NASCAR Cup Series races in Kansas: Live updates, highlights, leaderboard

The NASCAR Cup Series returns to Kansas Speedway on Sunday for the AdventHealth 400 for the first of two race weekends at the 1.5-mile oval in Kansas City, Kansas.

Last week, Denny Hamlin overtook Kyle Larson to win at Dover and take his third win of the season.

These two drivers are expected to be in the race this weekend along with most of the cars from Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing. the two businesses that have dominated the season so far.

Christopher Bell held off Ross Chastain and led the first lap. But Chastain overtook him at the finish on lap 2.

NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson gave the command: “Drivers, start your engines.”

The AdventHealth 400 was scheduled to begin today at 2 p.m. Due to rain at Kansas Speedway, the race will start a little later.

The start of the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway has been postponed due to rain in the area. No start time was announced, but broadcasters on FS1 said it could be “a few hours.”

However, it was clarified that the Kansas track has lights and the race is scheduled to take place on Sunday.

The AdventHealth 400 in Kansas will be broadcast on the radio by the Motor Racing Network. MRN has affiliates across the country and their feed is also available to stream on MRN.com and on NASCAR.com, as well as on the NASCAR App. The race can also be heard on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.
