Watch Vince Neil Face-Plant During Motley Crue Concert

Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil suffered a serious fall during the band's performance on Friday night (May 3) in Atlantic City.

The group had only played a few songs in their opening tour show when they began rocking out their 1987 song “Wild Side.” As Motley Crue ran through the song's famous opening riffs, Neil hopped from one side of the stage to the other. Then the frontman tripped and threw him face first onto the stage.

What was impressive was that Neil didn't let the extinction get him down for long. The singer was back on his feet and ready to rock when the vocals of “Wild Side” began. Check out fan-shot video of the accident below.

It's not the first time Neil has suffered a painful concert accident. In 2021, the rocker just fell off the stage with his solo band. The concert was canceled and Neil was taken to hospital, where he was reportedly diagnosed with broken ribs.

Pearl Jam's Mike McCready also falls

Coincidentally, Neil wasn't the only rock star to suffer a fall this weekend. During Pearl Jam's tour-opening set in Vancouver on Saturday night (May 4), Mike McCready fell off the stage as the grunge group rocked the song “Porch.”

Even though the fall looked bad, the guitarist didn't appear to be worn out. McCready climbed back on stage and finished the show without further incident.
