Thunderstorms and showers possible across the Pittsburgh region; The trend towards warm and humid temperatures continues

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A crossing cold front will trigger isolated showers and thunderstorms that will continue through late evening, with showers finally tapering off toward morning.

Monday will be mostly cloudy, warm and humid, but mostly dry until a few showers may develop later this evening.

On Tuesday it will remain mostly dry in the morning and early afternoon. Still, we are monitoring the possibility of potentially strong to severe storms developing late afternoon into Tuesday evening depending on how this next system develops.

A chance of isolated showers and storms remains for the remainder of the week, with temperatures very warm in the 70s before cooling to near-normal 60s next weekend.
