The headline-grabbing driver of all this is Zendaya's recent appearance in the role of Thom Browne on the challenger She wore a version of tennis white on the red carpet at the film's London premiere.

But with the world-famous Wimbledon tournament just weeks away and a much bigger summer of sports beginning, the BNPL platform is seeing a rise in sales of Tenniscore merchandise in general.

It said skorts were up 134% year-on-year and sales of pleated mini skirts were up 109%.

Clearpay said sales of court dresses were up 35% year-on-year and sales of cotton jersey jumpers were also up 126%, with the film having a significant impact.

Tenniscore accessories and footwear were also a big hit this season, with crew socks seeing a 20% increase and white sneakers up 27% among Generation Z.

Overall, in addition to the numbers above, the company saw a 163% growth in longline sports bras, a 35% increase in tank tops, an 8% increase in polo shirts and a 16% increase in tennis skirts.

It is interesting to look at these elements by demographic as well, as some have seen massive increases in certain age groups.

For example, Generation Z saw a 476% increase in sales for long sports bras, +213% for skorts, +45% for tank tops, +76% for cotton jersey sweaters, +124% for mini pleated skirts, +428% for sweaters Cable knit and +76% for cotton jersey sweaters. Generation Y – or Millennials – also rely on V-neck sweaters (+443%), skorts (+126%), cotton jersey sweaters and mini pleated skirts (both +92%), long sports bras (+97% ). the other items on this list as well as visors with +20%.

What's perhaps even more interesting is that the older generations, who are often more resistant to trends, are also going crazy for teniscore.
