NFL schedule release: Will the 49ers play on a holiday again?

Last season, the San Francisco 49ers played the maximum number of primetime games. This will likely be the case as long as the organization continues to make good annual playoff runs.

However, there was a curveball. The Niners played on Thanksgiving And Christmas. On Turkey Day, Kyle Shanahan and Co. took on their rivals, the Seattle Seahawks. Preparing for the Week 16 game was fun as the best teams from both conferences competed against each other.

As we prepare to release the NFL schedule, we asked on Monday what your favorite time slot is for a game weekend. Today we're asking you if you'd like to see the 49ers play again on a holiday. We may be able to find out if they are playing sooner than expected:

There is an argument that you will sit down and watch football. So why not be the team you love? Maybe the holidays are a time to escape (not from family) and enjoy not staring at a screen.

There's also a chance that you're stuck with the in-laws and they have no idea that sportsball is being played. So instead of the NFL, you'll have to watch the replay that's currently airing on TNT.

The Niners organization did something extraordinary last Christmas that should become an annual tradition. They allowed local media to bring their children into the press box for postgame interviews.

The Christmas spirit wasn't quite the same after the quarterback chose terrible timing for the worst game of his season. Nevertheless, it was a fantastic experience for everyone.

What do you think about the 49ers playing on vacation again? Tell us about your Thanksgiving and Christmas experiences during last year's games and how that impacts your answer.
