The company announced that Shuck products being recalled would include Whipped Cream Spread, Shucks Strawberry Spread and Cream Cheese Spread, which may contain salmonella. Salmonella is a common bacterial disease that affects the intestinal tract. Salmonella bacteria typically live in the intestines of animals and humans and are excreted through feces. Salmonella is not usually a life-threatening disease. However, in certain cases, particularly in young children, the elderly, transplant recipients, pregnant women, and infants with weak immune systems, complications can occur that can be very dangerous.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?

If you have diarrhea, stomach cramps, fever, nausea, chills, blood in your stool, or even vomiting, there is a chance you are infected with salmonella. To recover, antibiotics are used to treat people with surreal illnesses, and you should drink extra fluids while diarrhea persists. The recall has not been lifted at this time, but we will make sure to keep Tex updated if there are any changes.
