Vengeance' for download Festival 2024

Sega has confirmed that it will bring something Shin Megami Tensei 5: Revenge to download Festival 2024.

Shin Megami Tensei 5: Revenge is the “final,” expanded version of the 2021 game and is scheduled to release on June 14th on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

To celebrate the launch, Sega and developer ATLUS will travel to Download Festival to provide a themed “immersive experience” to the rock and metal festival. According to a press release, there will be “eight gaming stations where audiences can battle demons before seeing their favorite bands.”

Speaking about the partnership, festival boss Andy Copping said: “We’re really excited to see SEGA Shin Megami Tensei 5: Revenge to the download festival to offer our festival visitors a unique experience. Music and games have a long history of collaboration and their fan bases often overlap, so it feels like a natural fit. We can’t wait to see you at the play stations!”

Originally available exclusively for Nintendo Switch, Shin Megami Tensei 5 sold over a million copies. This new edition “massively expands” the original with a brand new storyline with new locations, demons and decisions that will determine the fate of all existence.

Last year, Download Festival hosted a special interactive Bring Me The Horizon experience to promote their upcoming album POST HUMAN: NeX GEn.

Download Festival 2024 will take place from June 14th to 16th and will be headlined by Queens Of The Stone Age, Avenged Sevenfold and Fall Out Boy. Royal Blood, The Offspring, Machine Head, Pantera, Bad Omens, Corey Taylor, While She Sleeps, Sum 41, Billy Talent, The Used and Babymetal will also perform. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased here.
