Sports update: Eagles fall 10-2 to No. 10 knights

The Eden Prairie High School softball team was defeated by the 10th-ranked St. Michael-Albertville Knights, 10-2, at Miller Park on Thursday.

Despite falling behind early, the Eagles staged a comeback in the sixth inning. Senior Alex Hall hit a two-run double that brought home second-grader Genevieve Streed and eighth-grader Josie Blakely, cutting the Knights' lead to 8-2.

The loss brings Eden Prairie's season record to 9-6. The Eagles are scheduled to travel to Buffalo for a game on Friday at 7 p.m
