Star Rail releases Firefly gameplay animations

A Honkai: Star Rail Leak showed gameplay animations for Firefly and gave players a glimpse of its abilities. Honkai: Star Rail will introduce Firefly in version 2.3, which is scheduled to appear in June. It will be part of an event warp that will last three weeks. According to leaks, at least three repeat units will be available in its debut banner in the upcoming version.

When using Ultimate, Firefly's mecha form draws out dual blades and launches a series of attacks that deal single-target damage. She also performs typical kick moves while Complete Combustion is inactive.

Honkai: Star Rail's Firefly is a five-star character who follows the path of destruction and deals fire damage. With mecha armor she fits into the DPS role and scales ATK. Additionally, Firefly has pretty good survivability due to her versatile equipment that provides health regeneration and damage reduction. She seems like a viable choice for any Destruction team without top-notch DPS.

As for Firefly's story, she had previously appeared in a version 2.0 quest where Gallagher saved her from being arrested in Penacony. The character has been an illegal immigrant to the Reverie since the destruction of her homeland. It shares a common goal Honkai: Star RailGallagher and Robin – to pursue the watchmaker's legacy.

Apart from Firefly, Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 introduces players to Jade, another five-star character who follows the path of scholarship. It deals a certain amount of quantum damage and scales with ATK. With her technique, Jade inflicts the Blind Loyalty effect on enemies and prevents them from attacking allies. In addition, at higher levels the character gains effect resistance, ATK and DMG boost.

Honkai: Star Rail will be released on PC and mobile devices on April 26, 2023 and has also been announced for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
