Jon Stewart criticizes the “non-stop penis-to-penis coverage” of the Trump hush money trial

NEW YORK – Leave it to Jon Stewart to put Donald Trump's hush money trial into a unique perspective.

The Emmy Award-winning comedian this week exposed the obsessive media coverage of porn star Stormy Daniels' testimony during the former president's trial in New York City.

“It's been another big week of wall-to-wall, nonstop, penis-to-penis coverage of Donald Trump's trial,” Stewart said in the opening monologue of “The Daily Show” on Thursday. “The omnipresent coverage is numbing, disappearing into a television background with insights that only occasionally penetrate.”

Stewart openly mocked CNN's reporting that Trump allegedly greeted Daniels at his Lake Tahoe hotel suite wearing “satin or silk pajamas.”

“WHICH ONE?! I need to know!” he exclaimed.

Stewart also weighed in on another report about how missionary sex came up during this week's trial: “No wonder Trump locked up the evangelical voting bloc…Tell us more.”

Regarding MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell mentioning that Trump “didn't wear a condom…” during his tryst with Daniels, Stewart said he had reached his limit.

Nearly a decade after leaving the late-night talk show desk, Stewart returned to “The Daily Show” on February 12.

Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, it was initially announced that he would host the Monday night series.
