Assassin's Creed Shadows will launch on November 15th, according to a recently leaked product blurb coming directly from Ubisoft. Some additional pricing and DLC information on the next one Assassin's Creed The game was also datamined before its world premiere was announced.


Ubisoft has released the official title of the next entry in the Assassin's Creed Franchise on May 13th. As part of the move, the company also announced the premiere of its first theatrical trailer, scheduled for May 15 at 12:00 pm ET. Ubisoft immediately set up several YouTube premiere pages for the upcoming trailer.

Some fans immediately recognized that the description of Ubisoft Italy's video mentioned the game's expected release date of November 15th. The company removed this prematurely shared tidbit within minutes of posting it, but not before screenshots of the mishap began making the rounds on social media. The game's official title was also leaked today, having been revealed by dataminer Frax (aka fraxR6) around two hours before Ubisoft's announcement on May 13th. The add-on is said to include a quest called Origami Killer, which Frax says will be available from day one. The Season Pass is also set to include two expansions, both of which are expected to arrive post-launch. Rounding out the data miner's info dump was an alleged list of in-game currency purchases for Assassin's Creed Shadows, which range from 500 to 6600 helix packs. Microtransactions have long been a controversial topic Assassin's Creed fandom, but Ubisoft has never indicated that it intends to stop offering them.
