Video of a huge crowd trying to board a bus in London goes viral. The Internet reacts

“I don’t recognize London anymore,” one social media user said of a viral video that showed a huge crowd trying to board a bus in Ruislip. The one-minute clip was posted on May 13 by an X account (formerly Twitter) – UB1UB2 West London (Southall) – and has amassed over 1 million views to date.

“This is the public’s situation,” a man recording the scenario could be heard saying in the background. A huge crowd gathered at the Ruislip bus stop to board the vehicle in what was nothing short of extremely chaotic.

Two elderly women were also seen waiting nearby to board the bus, but neither of them made any attempt to join the crowd.

However, India Today could not independently verify the recording date of the video.

The internet had a heated debate over the video in the comments section of the post, with some wondering why passengers failed to join the queue before boarding.

“What happened to the orderly and civilized queuing?” one person asked. Also: “This is London? I thought it was somewhere in Bangalore.”

“It's everywhere. It seems no one has any respect or manners anymore,” read another comment.

“Unfortunately I don’t live far from here. Some people have no idea what a queue is. I often had to explain quite loudly. This is usually not an option in shops using public transport. These people have no respect, not even for the elderly or disabled. Sad times.”

Ruislip is a suburb in the London Borough of Hillingdon in west London.
