MI fan hits LSG supporter IPL 2024 viral video: Indian Premier League (IPL) fever has swept across India. As the seventeenth season of the tournament comes to an end, fans are doing their best to support their team, not holding back their emotions and wanting to cheer for their team even if they failed to secure a spot in the playoffs .

A viral video from Wankhede Stadium reportedly captured a heated clash between two groups of fans who were supporters of different teams. A fan was seen shouting and then hitting an LSG fan, following which a heated clash broke out at the Mumbai Stadium.

Although ABP Live could not independently verify the video, it appears to be from the MI vs LSG match played on May 17 (Friday).

LSG and MI fail to make it to the IPL 2024 playoffs

It is noteworthy that both LSG and MI failed to make it to the IPL 2024 playoffs. MI suffered an 18-run defeat and is expected to finish 10th in the IPL 2024 points table while all other teams already have more points than they did then. LSG, meanwhile, finished with 14 points from 14 games, but their lower net run rate (NRR) has already ruled them out of a spot in the IPL 2024 playoffs.
