Ty Olsson expresses his gratitude for the “love” and “kindness” shown to him and DJ Qualls following the engagement news

Ty Olsson is feeling the love after announcing his engagement Supernatural Co-star DJ Qualls.

He said the actors “didn't know each other at all” and that their actual meeting at the fan meeting didn't exactly spark anything.

Reflecting on how their relationship became what it is today, he added: “It's just crazy that this person who was just my friend, who I think about all the time, is now sending me the best messages , and he supports me and loves me unconditionally in all the right ways.”

Qualls also said he feels that “unconditional love” comes with a mutual understanding that “you treat that person with a certain respect and their best interests are your best interests as well,” which Olsson's treatment of him clearly shows.

“Ty was the first person in my entire life, my entire life [I] ever had that with it,” he said. “I just say a friend. [He is] the best friend I ever had and now we're going to be old men together, which is so crazy.
