Marvel hires Michael Lesslie to write the X-Men reboot film

According to the rumors, it has now been confirmed that Marvel has hired Michael Lesslie to write X Men Restart movie. There were rumors that a X Men The film is scheduled to go into production sometime in late 2025. Now this film has a writer.

According to deadline;

“After the success of his animated series.” X Men '97Marvel Studios is now moving into full swing with live action X-Men film with The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes Screenwriter Michael Lesslie is negotiating to direct the film. The film is still in early development with no talent or director locked in and no release date set. Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, will produce.

Of course, whether Lesslie ends up with the final draft of the script remains to be seen? It seems clear that Lesslie's basic tone is exactly what Marvel wants from this film.

I have no frame of reference for Lesslie as a writer. However, I trust that Marvel will make sure this movie is right before they release it. X-Men has too much potential to make a mistake.
