Boston takes a 1-0 lead against the Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals, but it took a miraculous 3-pointer from Jaylen Brown to secure the win in the first game of the series.

The Pacers vs. Celtics duel has changed the dynamics of ticket sales to the benefit of fans – 5:45 p.m.

The Pacers are good enough to make it to the Eastern Conference finals. And good enough to surprise the Celtics in the first game.

However, they are not good enough to excite the ticket-buying public – especially after what could have been.

Boston-Indiana is, well, not Boston-New York.

When the Knicks led the Pacers 3-2 in the second round of the playoffs, the prospect of a Knicks-Celtics Eastern Time finale caused fans to pay at least $400 in advance for tickets to games at TD Garden and $900 for games at Madison Square Garden, according to Jim Holzman, CEO of Ace Ticket.
