Key to the game: Celtics 126, Pacers 110

Given the way the Boston Celtics played on Thursday night, it was only a matter of time before they pulled away from the Indiana Pacers.

Well, it finally happened late in the third quarter when the C's went on a 12-3 run to pull ahead 84-71. That was their largest lead of the game up to that point, and they maintained the lead of at least 11 points for the rest of the game.

Derrick White opened the scoring with a three-pointer, which was soon followed by a step-back jump shot from Jayson Tatum. Myles Turner then scored the only points of the period for Indiana with a three-pointer before Jaylen Brown sparked a 7-0 run for Boston.

Brown, in arguably the best performance of his playoff career, answered Turner's three-pointer with one of his own 20 seconds later. He then assisted on a dunk to Oshae Brissett before capping the run with a layup.

Overall, Boston had a lead of 13 points, which at one point rose to as much as 20.
