A powerful tornado ripped through Temple, a city of nearly 90,000 in central Texas, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake Wednesday evening. The EF2 storm caused major damage to an estimated 500 homes and businesses in the Temple area of Bell County. Thousands have been reeling from the sudden disaster, another in a series of storms that have wreaked havoc across parts of the United States in recent weeks.
