Your WhatsApp is more personal than ever: The app adds new colors for chats

WhatsApp is constantly working to add new features and capabilities to the application, including improvements to user security, new filters for conversations, and even a renewed user interface on both iPhone and Android.

And the latest novelty discovered in the application also aims to offer more customization options: if you are already tired of seeing message bubbles in green in all your chats, it will soon be possible give him a new one see to the conversation windows on WhatsApp with another color of your choice.

Goodbye green bubbles in chats. Welcome to the new colors

Currently WhatsApp only allows you to change the default wallpaper for all chats. We can use solid color backgrounds or even images and photos from our library. It is also possible to change the wallpaper only for the chat window with a contact or group.

However, WhatsApp is working on adding the option to change the default theme for all chats. This will allow you to change the color of the background image and also the message bubbles in chats, which will allow you to replace the typical green color that we have seen so far.

WhatsApp Colors 2

This novelty was discovered in the latest beta of WhatsApp for iOS by WaBetaInfo, namely in version 24.11.10.70. At first glance we can see that the available colors blue, black, red and purple, in addition to the classic green colorat least in principle.

If you select a default theme, all chats shows the message bubbles of the color we chooseand the new background image. But the chats where we previously configured a custom background image will continue with the same background image, since the new option only changes the default or general appearance of individual and group chats.

This new customization feature is currently only available to some WhatsApp beta users on iOS, but should reach more beta users in the future. However, the date when this customization feature will reach all users of the final version of the application is not yet known. However, hopefully it will not be too long before we can customize the appearance of our chats on both iPhone and iPad. on Android.
