No one will be forgotten: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expected to be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4

After many months of leaks and speculation, Microsoft and Activision have finally announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. While the full presentation won't take place until next month, some release details have surfaced earlier.

We know this

It seems that the game will be released for different generations. Reddit user @charlieINTEL reported on Twitter that GameStop has pre-order lists for the game with versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PlayStation 4. Insider Gaming confirmed this information

While Call of Duty games are often released as cross-gen titles, many expected that support for previous-generation consoles would be dropped now, nearly four years after the new generation was released, in order to fully utilize the capabilities of the new hardware.

The worldwide presentation of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is scheduled for June 9th. There will be a special live presentation following the Xbox Games Showcase. Rumors suggest the game will be released in October.
