Shakira and Cardi B release music video for “Dream” collaboration “Puntería”: Watch

The release came as Shakira released her 12th studio album, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” on Friday.

“Puntería” by Shakira and Cardi B is here!

On Thursday, the singers released their magical new music video, in which Shakira sings in a soap bubble. Emily in Paris Actor Lucien Laviscount dressed as a centaur gets shot in the chest by an arrow, lots of sexy dance moves and more.

The track appears on Shakira's 12th studio album. Women Don't Let Gotheir first LP release in seven years, following the release of 2017's El Dorado.

The new record, released on Friday, features 16 tracks from the award-winning singer, including eight new songs, a new remix and seven previously released hit singles, including “Music Sessions Vol. 53” with Bizarrap, “TQG” with Karol G, “Monotonía” with Ozuna, “Te Felicito” with Rauw Alejandro and “Copa Vacía” with Manuel Turizo.

Shakira, 47, and Cardi, 31, revealed how their collaboration came about as they interviewed each other in footage shot on the set of the music video and subsequently shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) from the fan site Cardi All Access.

“The first time I met Shakira was in Paris at the Fendi show, and I was very, very nervous,” Cardi recalls her meeting the Colombian hitmaker at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. Billboard“I was nervous about getting to their side, but I thought to myself, 'I'm not going to get to their side until they call me.' I manifested it, but I didn't know when it was going to happen.”

Shakira said: “I wanted to do something with Cardi. We always discussed internally whether it would be a good idea to hire someone for this song. I always imagined Cardi for this song. I contacted her and here we are.”

“It's been so much fun working with you. It's so easy, honestly. She says, 'I'll do anything.' I say, 'Are you willing to work long hours? Because I work long hours.' She says, 'I'm here from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m.,'” the “Hips Don't Lie” singer said.

Cardi was thrilled when she got Shakira's call. “I knew it. I knew this day would come. And it came. God is good, Jesus,” she said.

“I don't care if she wants me to meow – I'm doing it. I can't wait. Seriously, this is my dream,” the “Up” singer added.

“I always watch your videos,” Cardi continued, noting to Shakira, “And it's so crazy to do a video with you because with all of your videos, you just notice that you take your time, from the angle to the dancing to the things that stand out.”
