Report: Hamas releases video with voice of Gaza hostage Noa Argamani

Hamas has released a video that presumably contains the voice of Gaza hostage Noa Argamani, Israeli media reported on Friday.

The Hostages & Missing Families Forum issued the following statement shortly thereafter:

“Hamas recently released a video with the voice of Noa Argamani, who has been in Hamas captivity for 238 days. The Argamani family has asked that the video not be broadcast.”

The forum's statement added: “125 hostages have been held in Hamas captivity for 238 days. It does not take a Hamas propaganda video to reiterate our appeal to the Israeli government: they must quickly reach an agreement that will allow them all to return to their homes.”

About Noa Argamani

Argamani has previously appeared in Hamas' hostage-taking videos, which it releases as part of an ongoing psychological terror campaign. In January, she appeared alongside fellow prisoners Yossi Sharabi, 53, and Itai Svirsky, 38. It was later reported that both Svirsky and Sharabi had been killed.

Noa's mother, Liora Argamani, is suffering from terminal brain cancer. Liora has repeatedly expressed her wish to see her daughter again.

Argamani was kidnapped at the Nova music festival. A video showing her riding away on the back of a motorcycle with Hamas terrorists on October 7 went viral.
