Nicki Minaj cancels her upcoming show in Amsterdam after being arrested in the European country last week for suspected “drug possession.”

“Due to the events of the last week, the Nicki Minaj show on Sunday 2 June at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam will not take place,” said an announcement on the website of concert promoter Mojo. “Tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase.”

It doesn't appear that Minaj has addressed the cancellation on social media, which has upset her fans.

“Cancelling the concert in Amsterdam is already a bad move, but not even giving an explanation about it???”, wrote one critic about X on Saturday.

“Just give us a personal statement acknowledging us at least. Maybe it's because I'm a Seventeen fangirl, but I'm used to celebs acknowledging us but ignoring all their Dutch fans??? I regret all the time I spent as their fan.”

Another added: “Really disappointed that @NICKIMINAJ cancelled her show for Sunday in Amsterdam. I bought the tickets in advance and was a bit annoyed when they added an extra date a week before but then cancelled that one too…”

A third fan pointed out that they flew from India to Europe to see the rap superstar perform, adding: “We are disappointed that it didn't go the way we imagined. We were really excited and looking forward to it.”

Page Six has reached out to Minaj's representative for comment but has not immediately received a response.

Although the “Barbie World” rapper remained silent on the latest update, she spoke out on social media when police first took her into custody on May 25.

“They said they found weed and another group of people had to come over to weigh the pre-rolled joints. Remember, they took my bags without my consent,” she wrote about X at the time.

“My security has already informed them that these pre-rolls belong to him. Oh, and the pilot wants me to delete my IG post.”

Minaj, 41, also posted a video of the incident on X. In it, she can be heard protesting to a police officer: “I'm not going in there. I need a lawyer.”

The “Anaconda” rapper was eventually arrested by local authorities on suspicion of exporting soft drugs and released a few hours later on the condition that she pay a fine of unknown amount.

However, the ordeal caused delays in Minaj's travel schedule, forcing her to postpone her next “Pink Friday 2” tour stop in Manchester, England, which was scheduled for later that same day.

“I love you and I’m sorry that this happened tonight,” the “FTCU” rapper told her fans outside her hotel that evening.

In a statement about X, she then wrote: “Thank you to everyone who prayed for me today. May God protect you and all that is connected to you. May you be blessed beyond your imagination.”

Minaj also published a series of posts about Ari Lennox's arrest in 2021 after she was allegedly racially discriminated against at an Amsterdam airport.

One of the posts read: “No scandal, Amsterdam needs to be removed from the list of black artists' tour destinations. Ari Lennox's situation told me everything I needed to know about Amsterdam.”
