However, Kohli is not unfamiliar with fans cheering him loudly. Proof of this is that social media is full of photos of the right-hander looking serene and enjoying his food as his fans cheer him on during India's warm-up match for the 2024 T20 World Cup against Bangladesh.

India beat Bangladesh in warm-up match for T20 World Cup

Despite Kohli not being used in India's 11-man line-up in the warm-up match against Bangladesh, India managed to beat Bangladesh by 60 runs. Rishabh Pant (53 off 32) and Hardik Pandya (40 off 23) shone with the bat for Team India, scoring 182/5 in their 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav also scored 31 off 18.

In response, Bangladesh were restricted to 122/9 with Arshdeep Singh (2/12 from 3 overs) emerging as the best bowler. Shivam Dube (2/13) was also impressive in his 3-over game. Axar Patel (1/10 from 2 overs) also bowled well.

India's first match at the 2024 T20 World Cup is scheduled for June 5 against Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, before the showpiece match against Pakistan at the same venue on June 9 (Sunday).
