UGC NET Admit Card will be available soon for all the candidates who appear in this exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) exam at different centers of the states of India.

It is an all-India exam conducted to check the quality of the candidate's faculty work and Junior Research Fellowship. According to the updates, the exam is expected to be held in June 2024 in different parts of the country.

UGC NET Exam 2024

The National Testing Agency has organized the UGC NET examination for the academic year 2024-25 across the country. The applications of the candidates will be submitted and accepted between April 20, 2024 and May 19, 2024.

This UGC NET exam is set by the authority to maintain the teaching, examination and research standards of the various universities of India. UGC NET exam is considered as an important gateway or link between the Union and State Government Universities for higher education students.

According to the notification from the authorities, the application forms for the UGC NET exam will be accepted between April and May 2024. They have also announced the official date for conducting the exam, which is June 16, 2024, at various centers across the country. UGC NET Exam Pattern and Scheme

UGC NET exam is an OMR based exam which is conducted on the OMR papers given to the candidates. Candidates have to fill the correct option using the ballpoint pen. Two papers of UGC NET contain different questions and syllabus for the candidates.

The 1st exam contains a total of 50 questions worth 2 marks each. Candidates have three hours to complete the entire exam for further preparation. The 2nd exam contains 100 questions worth 2 marks each. Candidates have three hours to complete the exam.

Candidates appearing in the UGC NET exam must know the instructions and details to be followed to avoid mistakes.

  • The UGC NET Admit Card 2024 contains all the instructions regarding the examination procedure and must be followed by the candidates.
  • Candidates must bring a paper copy of the admit card for the examination, otherwise they will not be allowed to appear.
  • Candidates must bring two passport-sized photographs, two identity proofs, a pen and an admit card to the examination centre.
