Shooting at Harford Mall: Bel Air police issue alert, no information on suspect

An incident that is believed to have involved gunshots Harford Shopping Centersaid Bel Air police, who ordered an immediate evacuation of the area on Sunday. Maryland's municipal law enforcement agency took to social media to warn Harford County residents not to flock to the area. After a quick response to the shooting near the mall, a joint investigation was launched by the police department and other local agencies.

It is unclear if anyone was injured in the incident that occurred in the 600 block of Belair Road, but some unconfirmed reports claim that a shooting occurred in Bel Air on Sunday night.

“PLEASE AVOID THE HARFORD MALL AREA AS WE INVESTIGATE A SHOOTING,” Bel Air police wrote in a post on Facebook.
