Durant is coming off another stellar regular season, averaging 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.2 blocks per game in 75 games, while shooting 52.3% from the field and 41.3% from three-point range.

The Suns were sixth in the Western Conference with a record of 49-33.

However, they were defeated in the first round of the NBA playoffs by Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Considering the Suns had Durant, Bradley Beal and Devin Booker, the season was a huge disappointment.
