MUMBAI: A viral video on X showed Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon being pushed around by a group of people outside her Bandra house on Saturday night. While a man in the video claimed that her driver had rammed his mother with her car, police said the claim was not supported by any evidence. In the video, a woman also accused the actress' driver of assault, but police said both sides refused to file a formal complaint.

Khar police recorded statements from both sides and sent everyone to a government hospital for medical examination. No injuries were reported. District police chief Raj Tilak Roushan said the car did not hit anyone.

According to police, Tandon was on her way to her house in Bandra in her car, which was driven by her driver. Video footage showed the driver reversing the car towards her house. A group of women passing by reportedly asked him to be careful as he could have hit someone.

According to police, an argument broke out between the driver and the women. Later, Tandon left her house to help the driver. Meanwhile, the women's relatives had gathered. In the clip, the relatives can be heard claiming that the driver hit some of the women. One of the women said she had a nosebleed. Tandon tried to calm her down but was pushed around. She said, “Don't hit me.”

Tandon did not respond to text messages seeking comment.
